The CHAMP Faculty Development Program was developed and administered at the University of Chicago, training faculty in general internal medicine, hospitalists and geriatric fellows to teach about the care of hospitalized older adult patients. CHAMP evaluation components consist of a geriatrics knowledge test, geriatrics attitudes scale, commitment to change contract and follow up survey and surveys about teaching and practicing geriatric clinical skills, ACGME core competencies and teaching strategies presented in CHAMP.
